OTH- Daily Odds 7/16/19 is part of a daily series providing you with the odds for all major sports playing that day.
MLB
7:05 Dodgers @ Phillies – Walker Buehler will get the start for the Dodgers tonight. Buehler has given up three or fewer runs in eight of his last ten starts. In those ten starts he allowed no runs three times, and allowed one run three times. Pitching for the Phillies tonight is Vince Velasquez. Velasquez has given up 11 earned runs in his last 16.2 innings of work. Expect the Dodgers bats to stay hot tonight against Velasquez and the Phillies.
Dodgers -1.5 -120
7:10 Tigers @ Indians – The Indians are 9-1 against the Tigers this season, with eight of those wins coming by more than one run. The Tigers are starting Ryan Carpenter, who is 1-5 with an 8.36 ERA. He has given up six or more runs in half of his starts this season, including a June 14 game against Cleveland where he gave up eight runs in three innings. Zach Plesac is pitching for the Indians, and he beat the Tigers on June 23. In that start, he went seven innings and only gave up one run.
Indians -1.5 -130

7:10 Padres @ Marlins – Miami sends Jordan Yamamoto to the mound. He is 3-0 in his five starts this season, and has yet to give up more than two runs in a start. He currently has a 1.24 ERA and has yet to give up more than three hits in any start. San Diego has lost 8 of their last 11, including being swept at home by Atlanta this past weekend. Staring for the Padres is Logan Allen. Allen has been crushed in his last two outings, allowing seven earned runs in just five innings.
Marlins +110
7:10 Blue Jays @ Red Sox – Andrew Cashner and the Red Sox look to take game two of the series tonight against the Blue Jays. Cashner has been pitching well lately, allowing just two runs or fewer in his last five starts. He is also 2-0 on the year against the Jays allowing one run in 13 innings. Expect Rafael Devers to have a big game and help earn the Red Sox a win.
Red Sox -1.5 -120
8:10 Mets @ Twins – Michael Pineda is starting for the Twins. He has won his last two starts, and has given up one run in four of his last five starts. The Mets are starting Steven Matz, and they lost four of his five starts in June. These two teams combined for 37 runs in a two game series in April. If this turns into an offensive show, I still like the Twins offense at home.
Twins -150
8:15 White Sox @ Royals – Kansas City sends Glenn Sparkman to the mound. Since being put into the rotation in June, Sparkman’s ERA has ballooned from 3.77 to 5.18. He has given up 11 home runs in his last six starts, and look for more of the same tonight. The White Sox bats have been quiet since the All Star Break (7 runs in 4 losses), but look for that to change tonight.
White Sox – 120
International Champions Cup
9:00 Florentina vs Guadalajara – Guadalajara +.5 -135
