2019/20 NHL on NBC Schedule Released

NBC Sports Releases Schedule of 109 Regular Season NHL games to be broadcast on the network.

NBC Sports released their programming schedule for the 109 NHL regular season games they are set to broadcast.

The Philadelphia Flyers, Pittsburgh Penguins, St Louis Blues and Chicago Blackhawks will receive the most coverage on the network. The Ottawa Senators will not receive any coverage on the network during the 2019/20 season.

Season coverage will begin with the current Stanley Cup champion St Louis Blues on October 2nd, where they will face the Washington Capitals. The game will commence at 8pm ET, shortly followed by a playoff rematch of the Vegas Golden Knights vs the San Jose Sharks (Vegas hosting).

NBC Game Coverage By Team

Important dates to note within the broadcasting calendar include the 2020 Coors Light Stadium Series and the 2019 Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic Game, which NBC holds exclusive rights to. Another event to note is the NHL All-Star Weekend.

The NHL Stadium Series game will feature the Los Angeles Kings and Colorado Avalanche going head to head at the Falcon Stadium at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. NBC will be airing coverage on Saturday February 15th 2020 at 8pm ET (NBC).

The Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets will be facing off at the Mosaic Stadium in Regina, Saskatchewan for the Tim Hortons NHL Heritage Classic on October 26th, 2019. This game will be broadcast at 10pm ET (NBCSN).

NBC Sports also hold the rights to broadcast the 2020 Bridgestone Winter Classic between the Dallas Stars and Nashville Predators. This will take place on January 1st 2020 from the Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas, Texas. Broadcasting will commence at 1pm ET.

The 2020 All-Star Weekend will be broadcast from the Enterprise Center in St Louis, Missouri (home of the Stanley Cup champion St Louis Blues) on January 24th and 25th 2020. The All-Star Game on the 25th will have live coverage during prime time on NBC.
