John Wall Out for the Year

John Wall is already out for the season and the Wizards have to wait another year, to see if their back court can get them to the Finals. The Wizards can only hope that Wall can comeback as the player he was before the injury.

Beal is here too stay

Bradley Beal resigned to stay with the Wizards. https://www.si.com/nba/2019/10/17/bradley-beal-wizards-contract-extension Beal has to be hoping after this season and a high draft pick that him and Wall will be able to do damage in the Eastern Conference. Beal is coming off a great individual season as he started all 82 games. Scored 25.6 PPG, 5.5 Assists, and 5 rebounds per game.

Young Bigs

The Wizards have a trio of young bigs hoping to make their mark for the Wizards. They used their first round pick on Rui Hachimura. Made a trade to get Mo Wagner and resigned Thomas Bryant to a 3 year $25 million. Bryant is coming off a solid season where he averaged 10.5 PPG and 6.3 Rebounds.

Wizards Future

This looks like a long season ahead for the Wizards. I see them dropping two spots in the East to 13th. Bradley Beal is a star, but nothing significant to go with him. Going forward they finally get Ian Mahinmi off the books. As well as CJ Miles and David Bertans which adds up to $31,180,210. Wall, Beal, a top draft pick and some solid free agent signings could have this team competing again in 2020-21.
