In addition to the Sunday matchups, we will let you know which teams have the heavy schedules next week. This is going to be long article, let’s jump right in!
Enjoy!

Florida Panthers vs Edmonton Oilers, 4pmEST
Points
- Ethan Bear, EDM 2%: Playing top pairing with Darnell Nurse, Bear has 2 goals on 8 SOG in the last 3 games. He is also getting time on the second power play unit.
- Brett Connolly, FLA 4%: 4 goals, 3 assists through 8 games on the season. He also has 2 goals on 8 SOG the last 2 games. He is an excellent option. Might even be the Fantasy Hockey Sunday Streamer pick up of the week!
- Frank Vatrano, FLA 20%: 3 points on 14 SOG in his last 4 games. Playing on the third line with newly signed Center, Brian Boyle, Vatrano loves to shoot the puck. Plenty opportunity to get on the stat sheet.
Hits/Blocks/PIMs
- Zack Kassian, EDM 29%: A familiar name to the Fantasy Hockey Sunday Streamer articles, Kassian is a hits machine. 13 hits in the last 3 games for the top line wing, who still has McDavid/Draisaitl exposure.
- Kris Russell, EDM 3%: 14 blocks in 3 games should keep Russell on your radar if you need to add a few blocks to your weekly totals.
- Noel Acciari, FLA 2%: A good option for both hits and blocks, Acciari has 17 hits and 14 blocks through 8 games this season.
- Dryden Hunt, FLA 0%: 6 PIM’s and 21 hits through 8 games this season for the fourth line winger.

- Darnell Nurse, EDM 74%

St. Louis Blues vs Detroit Red Wings, 5pmEST
Points
- David Perron, STL 37%: 2 goals in his last 3 games and 7 points through 9 games on the season. He is overlooked so often, but he quietly fills out the stats sheet. He is on the second power play unit in STL, but one could argue it’s the better power play option of the two units.
- Jaden Schwartz, STL 28%: 3 points in the last 3 games, Schwartz is another under the radar player that produces. Schwartz is top line and top power play, so the opportunity is there.
- Tyler Bertuzzi, DET 48%: Time is running out to get Bertuzzi on your fantasy team. He now has 10 points through 10 games this season. Make sure you keep an eye on him, I don’t think he will be part of the Fantasy Hockey Sunday Streamer articles for much longer!
- Andreas Athanasiou, DET 19%: Still looking for his first goal, the speedy forward is still putting up over 2 SOG per game. He did put up 30 goals last year, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him get the monkey off his back this weekend.
Hits/Blocks/PIMs
- Jacob de la Rose, DET 1%: 21 hits and 9 blocks through the first 10 games of the season, de la Rose will also has 4 points through this young season.
- Mike Green, DET 10%: 11 bocks in his last 3 games and 23 total fo the season, the veteran defenseman also has 10 PIM’s. A good option for multi category help.
- Sammy Blais, STL 39%: The sweetheart of the fantasy hockey community has seen his scoring cool down, but his hits keep coming. 10 hits in the last 3 games and 39 through 9 games. he is also top power play, points are a very real possibility too.

L.A. Kings vs Chicago Blackhawks, 7pmEST
Points
- Dominik Kubalik, CHI 2%: 1 goal on 15 SOG in his last 3 games. He is back on the third line, but he is still getting second unit power play time. The shot volume breeds confidence.
- Kirby Dach, CHI 2%: The third overall pick from this past NHL Draft, Dach made his debut playing with Dylan Strome and Patrick Kane. Already notching his first career goal, the talented youngster should be on your watch list at the very least.
- Jeff Carter, LAK 7%: 2 points on 11 SOG in his last 3 games, Carter seems to have woken up a little bit. Leading the team with 33 SOG so far this season, the opportunity is there to get a point or 2.
- Tyler Toffoli, LAK 7%: 1 goal on 8 SOG in the last 3 games. Playing both second line and second power play, Toffoli is averaging just over 15 minutes ATOI so far.
Hits/Blocks/PIM’s
- Sean Walker, LAK 9%: The second year defenseman looks to be building on last season’s solid production. 4 hits, 8 blocks and 6 PIM’s the last 3 games makes him good streaming option, but couple that with his 4 points in 9 games puts him into the conversation for longer term rostering.
- Dustin Brown, LAK 48%: Banger league darling, Brown has 7 hits in the last 3 games. Playing almost 20 minutes per game, Brown is great option for most categories.
- Calvin de Haan, CHI 1%: 15 hits, 8 blocks and 1 assist over his last 3 games puts de Haan toward the top of the list if you need help in the hits and blocks categories.
- Andrew Shaw, CHI 10%: Hits and PIM’s, you want them? He’s got you. 12 hits and 6 PIM’s in his last 3 games played.

San Jose Sharks vs Ottawa Senators, 7pmEST
Points
- Vladislav Namestnikov, OTT 13%: A very talented winger, Namestnikov made his presence known after he was traded to Ottawa. He has 7 points in 7 games with Ottawa this season, 2 of those goals coming in the last 3 games.
- Kevin Labanc, SJS 38%: A slow start has scared some off of Labanc this season. But putting up 4 points over his last 5 games, Labanc might be on the upward swing.
- Patrick Marleau, SJS 10%: Slotting on the top line, Marleau has 5 points through 5 games this season. The veteran is definitely worth a look this weekend.
Hits/Blocks/PIM’s
- Brendan Dillon, SJS 3%: 9 hits in the last 3 games and, a team leading, 31 hits on the season. Dillon also leads the team with 16 PIM’s on the season.
- Marc-Edouard Vlasic, SJS 1%: 12 blocks this season. Thats about all your going to get from Vlasic.
- Nikita Zaitsev, OTT 6%: 14 blocks and 8 hits in his last 4 games, Zaitsev is an excellent option for the peripheral stat categories.
- Mark Borowiecki, OTT 4%: 35 hits and 17 blocks in 9 games this season. Much more reliable in hits then any other category.

- Brady Tkachuk, OTT 79%
- Tomas Hertl, SJS 85%
- Timo Meier, SJS 85%

Philadelphia Flyers vs New York Islanders, 7pmEST
Points
- Travis Konecny, PHI 46%: 3 points in his last 3 games, Konecny is stuck next to Sean Couturier and its playing out wonderfully. He is another player that should be rostered full time.
- Oskar Lindblom, PHI 4%: The final piece of that second line, with Konecny and Couturier, Lindblom has found success as well. 3 points in the last 3 games with just over 17 minutes ATOI.
- Brock Nelson, NYI 30%: 2 points in his last 2 games and 7 points through 8 games on the season. The Islanders are playing well right now, get a piece of the production while you can.
- Josh Bailey, NYI 19%: 6 points through this first 8 games of the season, Bailey is seeing a good amount of success early on.
Hits/Blocks/PIMs
- Adam Pelech, NYI 2%: Not much of an offensive threat, Pelech comes through with the hits and blocks. 17 hits and, a team leading, 24 blocks on the season so far.
- Johnny Boychuk, NYI 3%: 20 hits and 15 blocks through 7 games this season, Boychuk will also chip in a point here and there.
- Robert Hagg, PHI 4%: 9 hits in his last 3 games and 19 on the season, Hagg is a great option for hits. He also has 18 blocks on the season, that leads the team. He is another Fantasy Hockey Sunday Streamer lock. He has the peripheral stats locked down.

- Ivan Provorov, PHI 62%
- Matthew Barzal, NYI 77%

Boston Bruins vs New York Rangers, 7pmEST
Points
- Jake DeBrusk, BOS 33%: After a slow start, DeBrusk has 2 points in his last 3 games. Not for a lack of effort, behind only the guys on the top line, DeBrusk has 24 SOG this season.
- Brett Richie, BOS 0%: Playing with DeBrusk, Richie has woken up a bit lately as well. Posting 2 points in the last 3 games, a hot hand is always a nice streaming option.
- Pavel Buchnevich, NYR 14%: Shifting up and down the line up hasn’t effected Buchnevich too much. 3 points in his last 4 games, Buchnevich should be on your watch list with the exposure to Artemi Panarin and Mika Zibanejad being a possibility.
- Tony DeAngelo, NYR 2%: 3 goals in his last 4 games, this kind of production isn’t sustainable for him, but he shoots the puck a lot. 9 SOG in the last 4 games and 15 through 7 games this season. Getting time on the second power play unit, the point production is a possibility.
Hits/Blocks/PIMs
- Chris Kreider, NYR 52%: Help in these categories is very hard to find or count on. With just under 17 minutes of ATOI, Kreider is the best option. 15 hits and 6 PIM’s through 7 games this season.
- Chris Wagner, BOS 2%: I think Wagner would be my choice to cover hits. 17 hits in the last 3 games and 29 on the season.
- Sean Kuraly, BOS 1%: Third on the team, with 20 hits on the season, Kuraly has also racked up 6 PIM’s.

- Nobody of note.
Last, but not least…..

Anaheim Ducks vs Vegas Golden Knights, 8pmEST
Points
- Jakob Silfverberg, ANA 42%: Get him. Now. Go. 5 points in the last 4 games, Silfverberg seems to have a nice stride. Leading the team with 8 points on 22 SOG, Silfverberg is a great long term option as well.
- Adam Henrique, ANA 26%: 5 points in his last 5 games, Henrique is on a productive streak right now. Ride it out while you can.
- Reilly Smith, VGK 58%: 2 goals in his last 4 games and, a team leading, 7 goals on the season, Smith is on of the best streaming options on Vegas.
- Paul Stastny, VGK 42%: Now centering Max Pacioretty and Mark Stone, Stastny is creeping into that “must own” category. Stastny has 2 points in the last 4 games played, but i expect the production to pick up a bit.
Hits/Blocks/PIMs
- Ryan Reaves, VGK 11%: Hits and PIM’s. That is all.
- Brayden McNabb, VGK 22%: Second on the team with 20 blocks on the season, McNabb will also throw in a good amount of hits and PIM’s.
- Josh Manson, ANA 6%: Leading the team with 28 hits, Manson also brings 15 PIM’s and 13 blocks with him.
- Korbinian Holzer, ANA 0%: With a name like that, how could you not want him on your team? He also has 21 hits and 16 blocks on the season. Add his 9 PIM’s and you have a decent streaming option.
