The Team has fallen sick to the Foxboro Flu and injured this week. This is a review of all of the recent injuries in New England.
Jason McCourty’s Groin
Jason McCourty is ruled out in the game against the Texans because of a groin injury. McCourty has been a critical player in the Patriots secondary this season. He has one interception, and six passes deflected this season so far. It is a bad weak to get hurt because the whole Patriots team has come down with the Foxboro Flu.
Stephon Gilmore is questionable with the flu, and this is huge for New England. Gilmore is the best cornerback in the NFL. Dont’a Hightower is also out with sickness this week, he is the play-caller, so this is another major loss. Safety Patrick Chung is also out with illness, which if he is out leaving another massive hole in the defense. Tight end Ryan Izzo, cornerback Joejuan Williams, and offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor.
Hopefully, all of the Patriots players who are sick will come back soon. If we do not have all of these players here on Sunday, we may have to worry a bit. McCourty will hopefully heal fast and have a speedy recovery.
