Week 14 Waiver Wire Adds brought to you by Fantasy Expert FF Joe H of Overtime Heroics. Players on this list will only be rostered in less than 50% of fantasy leagues according to ESPN.

For some of you, playoffs are here! The regular season means nothing until this point in the season. Hopefully, you all used my advice well and are here in the playoffs like I am in the majority of my leagues. Now at this point with playoffs, it is crucial you ace the waivers and secure the streaming player you need. Here are some players you need to add.

Ryan Fitzpatrick, Miami Dolphins – 5.4%

This isn’t the sexiest add in the world, but Fitzpatrick can win you games this fantasy playoff. He plays below average secondaries for the next three weeks in the playoffs with the Jets, Giants, and Bengals. The best idea is to put him into your line up and not watch him play, because his play may look ugly. He will sling it and throw touchdowns though getting you a lot of points. Fitzpatrick has put together two straight 20 fantasy point performances and will build off of that.

Other Quarterbacks:

  • Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans – 21.4%
  • Gardner Minshew, Jacksonville Jaguars – 10.4%
  • Daniel Jones, New York Giants – 34.6%

Bo Scarbrough, Detroit Lions – 46.7%

Somehow, the workhorse running back in Detroit is owned in less than half of leagues. He has registered three straight games of 14 or more carries. He doesn’t have favorable matchups coming up, but he is a guy worth stashing in case of an injury. Plus, he is the guy who will punch it in on the goal line.

Other Running Backs:

  • Raheem Moster, San Francisco 49ers – 14.1%
  • Adrian Peterson, Washington Redskins – 46.4%
  • Darwin Thompson, Kansas City Chiefs – 5%

Anthony Miller, Chicago Bears – 10.3%

The slot receiver from the Bears exploded this past week. He was matched up all Thanksgiving with proven slot corner Justin Coleman and smoked him all game. Miller caught nine passes for 140 yards. With Gabriel sidelined, Miller is becoming the second threat for the Bears with a quarterback who is finding his footing. Miller can be the guy who wins your leagues in the playoffs.

Other Wide Receivers:

  • James Washington, Pittsburgh Steelers – 22.6%
  • Russell Gage, Atlanta Falcons – 4.3%
  • Zach Pascal, Indianapolis Colts – 24.9%

Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins – 10.3%

It’s odd that now two players (DeVante Parker) who were invisible under the rein of Adam Gase are now very serviceable for the Dolphins under a new regime. With that being said, Gesicki has become a reliable target for Ryan Fitzpatrick and has performed very well these last few weeks. Along with Fitzpatrick getting favorable matchups over the playoffs, Gesicki does as well. He’s great if you are in need of a streaming tight end.

Other Tight Ends:

  • Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams – 0.6%
  • Jack Doyle, Indianapolis Colts – 45.9%
  • O.J. Howard, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 39.6%

Tennessee Titans Defense

The Titans defense has been good for the most part this season. Their next matchup is against the Oakland Raiders who struggled offensively against below-average defenses in the Bengals, Jets, and Chiefs. They are very good at stopping the run which is the Raiders’ strong suit.

Other Defenses:

  • Indianapolis Colts – 42%
  • New York Jets – 34.7%
  • Green Bay Packers – 24%
