UFC London will have a solid gift from the matchmakers on March 21, 2020! We’ll get the London born Molly “Meatball” McCann against the “Rebel Girl” from California, Ashlee Evans-Smith in the women’s flyweight division at O2 Arena.

Molly comes to the fight 10-2 with a 3-win streak. Ashley has been a bit more challenged, coming in with a loss in February to Andrea Lee by decision, to have a record of 6-4. The crowd should be behind Molly “Meatball” McCann as a hometown favorite. With the “Rebel Girl” Ashlee Evans-Smith, we may have to believe this to be a make or break opportunity for her. Having a record in the UFC of 3-4, Ashlee may need this win to secure herself future UFC opportunities. Rebel Girl’s last win was against a tough Bec Rawlings in April of 2018.

No matter the motivation, both should come in fired up to have a real “Banger” at the O2, especially since word of the fight first popped out from Meatball posting on Twitter she got the call. However, if you scan the “Rebel Girl’s” social media, she hasn’t posted about this fight specifically. However, as of writing but she did post about good news a few days ago. I suspect that’s because she may be training at this time. Both women should be ready to rock in London.
