Week 15 Waiver Wire Adds brought to you by Fantasy Expert FF Joe H of Overtime Heroics. Players on this list will only be rostered in less than 50% of fantasy leagues according to ESPN.

For those of you who have secured your next round of the playoffs, Congrats! For those who haven’t, I feel you, and don’t worry fight back and get to the highest place you can get!

Some crazy last-minute injuries caused some changes to lineups. The injury bug really bit hard this week, even almost losing me a game. For those looking to replace those players, here are some guys that you want on your roster.

Ryan Tannehill, Tennessee Titans – 40.1%

Who would’ve thought that since week seven, when Tannehill took over, that Ryan Tannehill would be a top-three fantasy quarterback? I’ll be honest; I definitely didn’t. Tannehill has been averaging 22.6 fantasy points over that stretch for the second-best average over that stretch behind MVP candidate Lamar Jackson. Tannehill now has the Oakland Raiders who just got lit up by 38-year-old Phillip Rivers. He’s a must add, and it is unacceptable that he is still below 50% ownership.

Other Quarterbacks:

  • Gardner Minshew, Jacksonville Jaguars – 12.8%
  • Derek Carr, Oakland Raiders – 37.9%
  • Ryan Fitzpatrick, Miami Dolphins – 15.3%

Raheem Mostert, San Francisco 49ers – 23.7%

Did the 49ers finally find their main workhorse back? Probably not knowing Shanahan, but it is still a great idea to roster him regardless. Mostert is the hot-hand right now in San Fran touching the ball 33 times for 263 total yards and three touchdowns over the last two games. The hot-hand in San Fran is a guaranteed top 12 back every week.

Other Running Backs:

  • Adrian Peterson, Washington Redskins – 44.1%
  • DeAndre Washington, Oakland Raiders – 9.5%
  • Patrick Laird, Miami Dolphins – 10.8%

A.J. Brown, Tennessee Titans – 31.3%

Along with Tannehill, Brown also has exploded in this Titans offense. Brown has 333 receiving yards and three touchdowns over the past three weeks. With Houston on deck, Brown should have a huge game especially given how Drew Lock just tore them apart. After Houston, New Orleans is next, and Jimmy Garoppolo tore them apart too.

Other Wide Receivers:

  • Zach Pascal, Indianapolis Colts – 30.7%
  • Russell Gage, Atlanta Falcons – 5.6%
  • Diontae Johnson, Pittsburgh Steelers – 10.4%

Tyler Higbee, Los Angeles Rams – 11.4%

With Gerald Everett sidelined, Higbee has stepped up greatly. Higbee now has two straight games with over 100 receiving yards catching seven passes in both of those games. He also has one touchdown over this stretch. If Everett continues to be sidelined, Higbee is a must-add for the playoffs.

Other Tight Ends:

  • Ian Thomas, Carolina Panthers – 0.6%
  • Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins – 24.3%
  • David Njoku, Cleveland Browns – 23%

Kansas City Chiefs Defense – 23.8%

The Chiefs defense has quietly been solid this year as they are ranked the 11th best defense in fantasy. After a solid performance against the New England Patriots, the Chiefs have the Denver Broncos normally below-average offense.

Other Defenses:

  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers – 6.9%
  • Detroit Lions – 11.3%
  • Seattle Seahawks – 34.3%
