Thursday Night Football: Here are @VaughnDalzell’s picks for Thursday, December 12. Tonight’s slate features three picks for the Ravens, one player prop, game pick and game prop. Follow @vmoneysports on Twitter for free picks and Patreon for his daily betting subscriptions.

The Ravens have scored 37 on SNF (NE) and 45 on MNF (LAR) holding them to a combined 26 points (20 from NE). Baltimore’s defense has not allowed more than 20 points in eight consecutive games. The Jets have scored 28 points (22 vs Miami) in the past two games and their last three games have all gone under 44 points. The Jets have played two MNF PRIMETIME games and scored 3 TOTAL POINTS (vs NE, CLE).

Pick: Ravens Under 44

Baltimore has scored first in 10 of 13 games this season (CLE, CIN, SF) and I expect the Ravens to score first and try and jump out to a lead. The only way the Jets make this competitive or cover the spread is if they score first or lead after the first quarter I don’t see that happening. The Ravens are one of the fastest teams to score in the league and the Jets are the opposite. Expect that Ravens defense to clamp down on Darnold early.

Pick: Ravens 1Q -3.5

Sam Darnold is facing the toughest defense since the New England Patriots on MNF. Darnold has thrown an interception in six of the last 10 games and has a ridicolous over/under of 0.5 tonight. I like the chances Darnold throws an interception tonight in Baltimore given how much pressure the defense forces. He’s thrown 11 picks on the year and the Ravens have 14. I would be suprised if he didn’t throw one tonight given they will most likely be playing from behind all game.

Pick: Sam Darnold Over 0.5 Interceptions

Record: 4-2
