Lakers End Heat’s Home Winning Streak, Win 113-110

Los Angeles Lakers forward , Anthony Davis yet again had another mammoth performance. Davis scored 33 points, while teammate LeBron James had 28 points as the Lakers edge a narrow victory of the Heat on Friday night.

LeBron James was just one rebound away from a seventh triple-double of the season. James had 12 dimes and 9 rebounds on the night. Davis followed up with a double-double of 26 points and 10 rebounds.

Not only the Los Angeles Lakers pick up another monumental win , as the purple have won 13 straight road games this season. However they inflicted a first home defeat for the Miami Heat this season.

The heat posed a many threats to the Lakers during tonight’s match as they kept in a reach of a one possession game until the end of regulation. The heat once lead by game high of 14 points in the second quarter.

Jimmy Butler lead the scoring sheet for Miami as he notched up 23 points alongside rookie Kendrick Nunn with 16 points and a season high in points for Derrick Jones Jr.Kendrick Nunn who has thoroughly impressed the spectators this season once again showed , his elite basketball IQ as he drained a three with a few seconds left to cut the deficit to a single point.

The Los Angeles Lakers were the dominant rebounders on the night as the purple and gold accumulated 50 rebounds , whereas the Miami Heat only managed to 34. A key rebound in the game cams during the last moments of the fourth quarter , shooting guard Caldwell-Pope, missed a free throw and therefore was able to quickly secure a rebound and hold onto possession of the ball to then be fouled and therefore head to penalty , to shoot free throws.

Anthony Davis was once again hot from the perimeter as the 6’10 forward just seemed practically flawless as he drained down key threes to give the Lakers a hold onto this game. Anthony Davis made four out of his 9 three point attempts.

For the Miami heat , Derrick Jones jr rose to the challenge and excelled with a season high of 16 points and shot relatively well from the three point range , making 2 out 3 three point shots.
