Start or Sit Week 16: Kickers brought to you by Overtime Heroics. Fantasy players that are clear starters will not be included in this Start or Sit article, such as Patrick Mahomes, Christian McCaffrey, and Michael Thomas. All the fantasy stats shown below will be based on a Point Per Reception (PPR) scoring format.

Start of the Week: Dan Bailey at Green Bay Packers

Dan Bailey is coming off of a special teams player of the week honors, his third of the season and sixth of his career. He made four field goals and 3-4 extra points. It really helps when a defense is giving an offense more opportunities to put up points and with the Vikings being at home this week where they are undefeated they should be in a good spot to do so. Some credit has to be given to the tremendous job kick holder Britton Colquitt has done for Bailey this season. Dan Bailey is my Start of the Week.

Other Good Starts:

  • Younghoe Koo at Jacksonville Jaguars
  • Jason Saunders at Cincinnati Bengals
  • Kai Forbath at Philadelphia Eagles

Sit of the Week: Zane Gonzalez at Seattle Seahawks

Zane Gonzalez has been really good this year hitting 28-31, but during the fantasy playoffs, it’s all about feasting on volume. The Seattle Seahawks are one of the top teams in the league in time of possession with their run-first strategy on offense which limits chances for opposing offenses. Playing at home i expect the Seattle Defense to make things tough for the Cardinals. Zane Gonzalez is my must sit of the week.

Other Good Sits:

  • Mason Crosby at Minnesota Vikings
  • Matt Gay at Houston Texans
  • Josh Lambo at Atlanta Falcons
