Noel Acciari has come onto the scene and into his own in Florida. He has that big hat trick that awarded him first star of the week last week, a goal against Carolina and a goal against Montreal on Sunday.

Bryan Rust 59% rostered in ESPN leagues 3.6 FPPG 

Bryan Rust is still not being looked at despite his booming numbers over the past month. He had two goals and two assists against Nashville bumping his stock 8 percent. Once again if you don’t have this guy on your team then I’ve nary a clue what you’re doing because you NEED Bryan Rust on your team right now.

San Jose Sharks

Joe Thornton 3.5% rostered in ESPN leagues 0.8 FPPG

Patrick Marleau 4% rostered in ESPN leagues 1.0 FPPG

Both of these players have points in both games coming back from the holiday break and are a game away from giving your team the boost it needs. Thornton and Marleau have a goal and two assists since coming back from break. 

Tampa Bay Lightning

@ Buffalo Sabres 12-31

Alex Killorn 53% rostered in ESPN leagues 2.5 FPPG

Killorn is the best available Lightning player and I am surprised he is available in most leagues with the way he is performing this season. Killorn got two goals and one assist against Montreal Saturday.

Nobody on Dallas has performed very well so I don’t want anybody from the stars on my team this week. 

Los Angeles Kings

Vs Philadelphia Flyers 12-31

Vs Nashville Predators 1-4

Jeff Carter 34.8% rostered in ESPN leagues 1.4 FPPG 

Jeff Carter has two assists and one goal since coming back from the break. Playing at home both games this week I would keep Carter in your back pocket.

Vancouver Canucks 

Vs Chicago Blackhawks 1-2 

Vs New York Rangers 1-4

Tanner Pearson 19% rostered in ESPN leagues 2.0 FPPG 

Tanner Pearson got two goals and one assist against Calgary on Sunday. Very few teams have Pearson and he will get some points for you this week at home.
