New England Patriots All-Decade Team Part 1

The New England Patriots all-decade team is one of the best teams this decade. This is the first part of the 53 man roster which will consist of the skilled positions of the Patriots all-decade team. 

Quarterback (2 Players)

Tom Brady 

Tom Brady is one of the best quarterbacks to ever step onto a football field. From 2010 – 2019 season with the Patriots Brady has thrown 292 touchdowns and 39,670 passing yards. Brady will go down as one of the greatest football players ever in NFL history. 

Jimmy Garoppolo

Jimmy Garoppolo stepped in for when Brady was suspended and showed the world what he could do. From 2014 – 2016, Jimmy threw for five touchdowns and 690 passing yards. Jimmy learned from Brady, and that was how he was made the quarterback he is today. 

Runningbacks and Fullbacks (6 Players)

James White 

James White has been a great running back for New England over the past couple of years. From 2014 – 2019, White has 23 receiving touchdowns, eight rushing touchdowns, and 3891 total yards. He was a three-time Super Bowl Champion with the Patriots. He has been a great receiving back for New England, and he could be on the all-decade team next decade as well.

LeGarrette Blount 

LeGarrette Blount was one of the best power runningbacks New England has this decade. Blount had 34 rushing touchdowns, one receiving touchdown, and 3054 total yards. He also was a three-time Super Bowl winner with the New England Patriots. 

BenJarvus Green-Ellis

BenJarvus Green-Ellis played for the Patriots from 2010 – 2011 in this decade. Green-Ellis had 24 rushing touchdowns and 1919 total yards. He won no Super Bowls with the Patriots, which is rare, but he did have a great career as an NFL player. 

James Develin 

James Develin does not have a crazy stat line like all of the other running backs. He was the top fullback for the Patriots throughout the 2010s. Develin was a one-time pro bowler and a three-time Super Bowl Champion. 

Danny Woodhead

Danny Woodhead played for the Patriots from 2010 – 2012 in this decade. Woodhead had ten rushing touchdowns, four receiving touchdowns, and 2181 total yards. He won no Super Bowls with the Patriots but went on to have a great NFL career. 

Stevan Ridley

Stevan Ridley played for Patriots this decade from 2011 – 2014. Ridley had 22 rushing touchdowns and 2963 total yards. He was a one time Super Bowl Champion with the New England Patriots and went on to be a career back up for the rest of his career. 

Wide Receivers (Six Players) 

Julian Edelman 

Julian Edelman has been a star for the Patriots and has played with them from 2010 – 2019 in this decade. Edelman will go down as one of the greatest wide receivers to ever play for the New England Patriots in history. In this decade, Edelman has had 6,148 receiving yards, 35 touchdowns, and 562 receptions. He is also a three-time Super Bowl Champion and a one time Super Bowl MVP. 

Wes Welker

Wes Welker was a tough wide receiver for the Patriots and played with them from 2010 – 2012 in this decade. Welker, just like Edelman, will go down as one of the greatest Patriots wide receivers in Patriots history. In this decade, Welker has had 3771 receiving yards, 22 receiving touchdowns, and 326 receptions. Welker was a three-time Pro Bowler and one-time First-Team All-Pro. 

Deion Branch 

Deion Branch played with the Patriots from 2010 – 2012 in this decade. Branch has had an amazing career in the NFL and he has had 10 touchdowns, 1513 receiving yards, and 115 receptions for the Patriots in this decade. He will always be remembered for the two Super Bowls he helped bring to Patriots Nation. 

Chris Hogan

Chris Hogan played with the New England Patriots from 2016 – 2018 in this decade. Hogan has had great success as a receiver in the NFL after Belichick met him at his son’s Lacrosse game. He had 12 touchdowns, 1651 receiving yards, and 107 receptions. In this decade Hogan is also a two time Super Bowl Champion with the New England Patriots. 

Danny Amendola 

Danny Amendola played with the New England Patriots from 2013 – 2017 in this decade. Amendola was a great slot receiver for the New England Patriots and was a significant help in many close matchups. He had 12 touchdowns, 2383 receiving yards, and 230 receptions. Amendola, just like Chris Hogan, is a two time Super Bowl Champion this decade.     

Brandon LaFell

Brandon LaFell played for the Patriots from 2014 – 2015 in this decade. LaFell was a great number two receiver and was a significant key to the Patriots’ success in the Patriots games that season. He had seven touchdowns, 1468 receiving yards, and 167 receptions. LaFell was a one time Super Bowl Champion with the New England Patriots. 

Tight Ends (Two Players)

Rob Gronkowski

Rob Gronkowski was and is one of the best tight ends to ever step onto a football field. Gronkowski played for the Patriots from 2010 – 2018 in this decade. He had 79 touchdowns, 7861 receiving yards, and 521 receptions. Gronkowski helped the Patriots win a lot of the Super Bowls and is a huge hole to fill in the roster. 

Aaron Hernandez 

Aaron Hernandez was a beast for the Patriots at the beginning of the decade. He played for the Patriots from 2010 – 2012 in this decade. Hernandez had 18 touchdowns, 1956 receiving yards, and 175 receptions.
