LSU hosted South Carolina’s five Star commit

LSU hosted a significant visit on Jan. 25th. Five-star Defensive End Jordan Burch came to Baton Rouge. The hope is to steal one of the most dominant defensive ends in the 2020 class. South Carolina, one of LSU’s rivals, have the commit because he wants to play in the SEC. Now the leverage is on Jordan’s side.

Why is LSU and South Carolina high on Jordan Burch?

Jordan Burch is a towering 6’5 273-pound giant, but you couldn’t realize this when he runs. He runs a 4.55, which is fast for a big man. Burch has one of the quickest first steps we have seen in a very long time. Furthermore, he is a picture-perfect tackler.

LSU possible signing of 5 star player

Jordan Burch has already made his visit to Baton Rouge in October. He did not make the commit due to the fact that South Carolina will get him onto the field quicker. Basically, he could run the show on defense, which no other SEC team can match that. Well, LSU is throwing exclusive rights to a defense that will be losing some players to the NFL.

Signing day Shakedown

The nation will find out how this visit ultimately went due to signing day right around the corner. This will make it an exciting and dramatic signing day, indeed. The signing of Jordan Burch could solidify the hole the Tigers would have at defensive end.

The Gamecocks think they have him although the better program could win out.

Will the Gamecocks win a huge commit from Tigers? Really it determines what Burch wants. Does he want to be the main focus of the defense immediately, or does he go to a National championship program?
