On March 21st at UFC London, featherweight contender Mike Grundy will look to make it 2-0 in the promotion as he takes on UFC veteran Makwan Amirkhani. Mike comes from a strong and very underrated gym in team Kaobon, training along ide top UFC contender Darren Till, as well as heavyweight Tom Aspinall, who will make his UFC debut alongside Grundy on March’s 21st.
Grundy has an impressive pro MMA record of 12-1 and most recently had a great second-round TKO finish over Nad Narimani back in March of 2019. That was at the same arena he will be competing at in this upcoming bout. Makwan Amirkhani is a big name within the featherweight division and is a tough test for any fighter. A win for Grundy would boost him towards the rankings and definitely give him the recognition that he deserves as a serious prospect amongst the wave of UK talent within the UFC right now.
