The Rockets have had a busy day right after reports came in that the Rockets were going to sign DeMarre Carroll after he cleared waivers they have now sign Jeff Green.

Jeff Green averaged 7.8 points and 2.7 rebounds in 30 games with the Jazz this season. Green at 6-ft-8 will possibly become the Rockets back up center and possibly backup power forward. Green has played sparingly this year for the Jazz but last year shot .347 from deep and .586 from inside the arc for the Wizards in 77 games. Just like Carroll Green fits perfectly into the Rockets current rotation. He will more than likely cut into Thabo Sefolosha minutes and will provide another switchable player the Rockets can add to their rotation.

The Rockets will now have two additional players that will fit in nicely to their small-ball philosophy. The Rockets don’t have another game until Thursday so that gives them time to implement both players into their system.
