Graham Glasgow has reached the end of his rookie contract with the Detroit Lions. He has had an outstanding young career so far. There is good reason to believe he will be an impactful option anywhere on the Bengals offensive line.
Graham Glasgow Has Had an Excellent Start to His Career
Glasgow has only missed one game in four seasons. He played 872 snaps this past season and this resulted in zero sacks and only three penalties. He had only one sack against him in 2018, therefore, makes an immediate impact for the Bengals. Plus he has had three straight years with a PFF grade higher than 70 due to his versatility and toughness.
Graham Glasgow is set to receive nine to 11 million dollars a year on a new deal. He is listed as an upper-tier free agent because of his accolades. His market value is a bit lower than the bigger names in free agency though. He will be a priority because he can be dominant in three different positions on the offensive line.
There are rumors circulating that Billy Price could be traded. This could help both parties because Price needs to play in a better system and the Bengals aren’t getting anything out of him. Although with the emergence of Trey Hopkins at center Glasgow will be needed at either guard position.
This is the first step to many. For the Bengals to stay aggressive, they need to continue to go after the top-tiered players.
