Jason Witten Signs with the Las Vegas Raiders

The Deal With Las Vegas

Yesterday, the Cowboys free-agent tight end unexpectedly signed with the Las Vegas Raiders according to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport.

According to a source close to the Dallas Cowboys, Jason Whitten is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Raiders. He can also make an additional 4.75 Million during the 2020 season.

Witten Time In Dallas

17 seasons ago, in the third round of the 2003 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys selected tight end, Jason Witten, out of the University of Tennessee. During his time with the Cowboys, he is a 2-time NFL All-Pro, went to the Pro Bowl 11-times, and won the Walter Peyton Man of the Year award in 2020. With 1,215 receptions, Witten is second in NFL Receptions. In 2018, he left Dallas for the Monday Night Football booth.
