Nick Foles would be a good fit for Head Coach Matt Nagy’s system because that’s what he’s run his entire NFL career. He started off playing for Andy Reid and then for Doug Peterson. So going to another coach from the Andy Reid tree, won’t be a problem for the Playoff hero Nick Foles. And Matt Nagy coached him while they were on the Eagles together. Foles did, however, tear his ACL last year for the Jacksonville Jaguars. And the Chicago Bears would have to pay him his remaining salary, which is for three more years at a high cost. Time will tell if this was a good move or not for Ryan Pace and the Chicago Bears.
Nick Foles has been Traded To The Chicago Bears
Nick Foles
QB trade: Jacksonville is trading QB Nick Foles to Chicago for the Bears’ compensatory fourth-round pick, sources tell ESPN.
Bears’ coaches such as Matt Nagy have worked with Foles in past and know him well.

Mitch Trubisky
What does this mean for the former second overall pick and current starting quarterback Mitch Trubisky? It sure looks like his days in Chicago could be coming to an end. And that means that Ryan Pace has officially lost faith in his quarterback that he staked his career on. The Chicago Bears defense is super bowl ready, and all they need is a smart quarterback that can read defenses and doesn’t just throw the ball to Allen Robinson every single play. Hopefully, Nick Foles is the guy to lead the Chicago Bears to their next super bowl party, my friends.
