Andrew Sendejo is the most recent free agent heading to the Browns. He will join the club on a one-year, $2.25 million deal. This signing adds another safety to the mix after the Browns already added Karl Joseph earlier in free agency. Sendejo is the oldest free agent the Browns have signed this offseason at 32 years old. Even at 32, he has been productive over his last three seasons. The Browns have now also hit double digits in free-agent pickups this offseason with Sendejo being the tenth player added.

Andrew Sendejo, Safety
Sendejo, at 32, brings some veteran leadership to the secondary. Last season he spent his time with both the Vikings and the Eagles. In 15 games, including three starts, Sendejo produced 45 tackles, two for loss, four passes defended, and three interceptions. While not the player he once was, Sendejo is still a productive player bringing depth to the position.
Sendejo has spent most of his career in Minnesota, so he is familiar with new Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski. This history is likely why he was on the Browns radar. The fact he is a low cost one year stop gap does not hurt either. Andrew Berry continues to add depth across the board after getting the big signings out of the way. These moves keep the Browns from having to force any picks in the upcoming draft to fills needs. They can now really look at the best players available and add the most talent possible in Vegas.
