Emmanuel Sanders Signs with the Saints

Former Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders has found a new home this offseason. The Saints add another weapon to their potent attack on a two year 16 million dollar deal.

Sanders was traded to the 49ers right before the trade deadline. Before that, he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He signed with the Broncos in 2014, where he played a vital part in the Broncos Super Bowl L. Sanders helped the 49ers reach the Superbowl last year as Jimmy G’s primary target. The veteran will try to do the same in New Orleans with Drew Brees.

Sanders had 66 receptions last season for close to 900 yards and five touchdowns. He brings another deep threat to a Saints offense led by Drew Brees, Alvin Kamara, and Michael Thomas.
