Robby Anderson needs to get signed soon

Robby Anderson has been talked about all winter but now the market for all top receivers is running low. Last night Emmanuel Sanders signed a two year 16 million dollar contract which caused Anderson’s market value to crush. His previous market value listed him at 12 to 14 million a year but due to the last receiver signing it doesn’t look good. The market running dry for this position was foreseen due to the massively deep draft class at receiver this year.

Robby Anderson is a top wide receiver

Robby Anderson is a 26 year old wide receiver who spent his first 4 seasons in the NFL with the New York Jets. He’s 6’3” 190 pounds and played his college football at Temple University. Anderson is a deep threat wide receiver who has also been making strides with underneath routes.

During Anderson’s career he had 207 receptions, 3,059 yards, 20 touchdowns, 14.8 yards/catch, and a 54.2 catch percentage. His best season came in 2017 when he racked up 941 yards and 7 touchdowns. His durability is also very good as he’s played in 62 out of a possible 64 regular season games.

Teams of Interest:

Robby Anderson has not had the best quarterbacks since he’s been in the NFL. With a quarterback like Carson Wentz, and a better offense as a whole around him, his production will be a lot better. The Philadelphia Eagles are being cautious due to his slip in market value.

The Green Bay Packers have had interest in Robby Anderson. It has been a long time now that this organization signed a stud at wide receiver. This could put him on a championship team which he has been wanting since he hit free agency. He would have an elite quarterback Aaron Rodgers with not many elite targets to go to. He would be a great number two receiver.

Robby Anderson best quarterback fit.

The best fit for Anderson would be going to the Carolina Panthers. With the Panthers signing Teddy Bridgewater there is one more thing they need to do. They need to bring in star talent at wide receiver. The Panthers have been clearing cap space which will make Anderson’s contract look more desirable. Robby Anderson has ties with head coach Matt Rhule because they both have ties at Temple.

Where does Anderson go? Does he follow the money or follow a championship. That question will be answered soon.
