Dontari Poe Signs with the Dallas Cowboys

According to Ian Rapaport and Jane Slater of the NFL Network says that Dontari Poe is going to sign with the Dallas Cowboys.

Who is Dontari Poe?

In the first round of the 2012 National Football League draft, the Kansas City Chiefs select Dontari Poe. Poe played for the Chiefs from 2012-2016. After 2016, he played a season with the Atlanta Falcons, and finally for the past two seasons playing for the Carolina Panthers. According to Pro Football Reference, Poe has 225 total tackles, 20.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and three total touchdowns on defense.

What Role Will Poe on the Cowboys?

Poe will be part of the Cowboys defense helping out newly signed defensive end, Gerald McCoy.

Only time will tell on how Dontari Poe will be in this defense. Without players working out due to the coronavirus makes 2020 uncertain. What do you think about the Cowboys signing?
