With the NFL Draft only a few weeks away, it’s time for my three round mock draft! I hope everyone enjoys!
Round 1 of the Draft
- Cincinnati Bengals–Joe Burrow, QB, LSU

The Bengals have made it clear that they want Burrow and they want to move on from Andy Dalton. Burrow had a phenomenal season at LSU, leading them to a National Championship. No trades, this is a no brainer here. Burrow to the Bengals.
- Washington Redskins–Chase Young, EDGE, Ohio State
The Redskins sit at an interesting spot with the second pick. To me, they would be stupid to pick anyone but Chase Young. He is by far the best player in the draft in my mind. Young to the Redskins.
- Detroit Lions–Jeffrey Okudah, CB, Ohio State
The Lions need help desperately at the corner position. Okudah is, without a doubt, the best corner in the draft. This is an easy pick in my mind! Okudah to the Lions.
- New York Giants–Isaiah Simmons, LB, Clemson
The Giants have two main needs. One at linebacker and another on the offensive line. I feel their best bet would be to get Simmons here considering how deep the offensive tackle position is this year. Simmons is a freak of nature. He should be a great help to a struggling defense.
- Miami Dolphins–Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama
The Dolphins obviously need some help at the quarterback position. Even though Tua has some injury concerns, he still has some crazy talent. He would do well in Miami, especially with the AFC East up for grabs. I think this would be a smart pick for the Dolphins at the number-five spot.
- LA Chargers–Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon
The Chargers have a need for a quarterback now that Rivers is out of town. The move that makes sense is to get the third ranked QB on the board in Justin Herbert. Herbert is a tad raw and has some things to work on but he has a lot of talent. He should do well for the Chargers. Herbert to LA.
- Carolina Panthers–Derrick Brown, IDL, Auburn
The Carolina Panthers have a lot of needs to address on the defensive side of the ball. After losing much of their interior defensive line, it is a high priority going into the draft. Derrick Brown is a great prospect and he will cause problems for the offenses in the NFL with his size and strength. Derrick Brown is going to Charlotte.
- Arizona Cardinals–Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa

The Cardinals need some offensive line help, especially if they want to help the face of their future Kyler Murray. Tristan Wirfs is an athletic offensive tackle who does a great job in the run game along with the passing game. I believe he would be a great addition to the Cardinals offense and help them out greatly.
- Jacksonville Jaguars–Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama
The Jaguars have some needs on the defensive side of the ball. With that being said, I don’t believe that there are any players that are worth taking on the defensive side of the ball at pick number nine. I think they will take the best skill player on my board and that is Jerry Jeudy out of Alabama.
- Cleveland Browns–Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia
The Browns desperately need an offensive tackle. Mayfield is their guy and he needs protection. I believe the right pick for this spot is Andrew Thomas out of Georgia. He is phenomenal in pass protection and is useful in the run game. He would be a plug-and-play type of player for the Browns and would have an immediate impact.
- New York Jets–Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville
The Jets are yet another team that needs some help on their offensive line. Sam Darnold is their guy and they are playing in what is going to be a tough division. Darnold needs help with being protected and Becton would be a great addition for that. He is big, smooth, strong, and crazy fast for his size. He would be a great selection for a struggling Jets team.
- Las Vegas Raiders–CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma
The Raiders have some serious needs at the receiver position. CeeDee Lamb is the second best receiver in the draft in my opinion, and he would be a great addition to a Raiders offense that is in desperate need for some weapons on the offensive side of the ball.
- San Francisco 49ers–Henry Ruggs III, WR, Alabama
The 49ers got a bargain with getting the 13th pick in the first round. It’s a little early to take one of the remaining cornerbacks at this point in the draft. I feel like Ruggs would be a great addition to this 49ers team. He is a speedster that would fit right in with their offense and succeed.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers–Jedrick Wills, OL, Alabama
The Buccaneers have a great need to get an offensive lineman to protect Tom Brady. At pick number 14, Wills would be an absolute steal for the Bucs. He is a great pass protector and would be a phenomenal addition to a pass rush heavy NFC South.
- Denver Broncos–CJ Henderson, CB, Florida
The Broncos need a corner to replace Chris Harris after they lost him in free agency. Henderson is a ball hawking corner who seems to catch balls as easily as a receiver can. He also does a great job of baiting quarterbacks into making the bad throws.
- Atlanta Falcons–Javon Kinlaw, IDL, South Carolina

The Atlanta Falcons need some help with their interior defensive line. Sitting at #16 is Javon Kinlaw. Kinlaw is a freak of nature in the middle. He is strong, fast, and quick off the line. He would be a great addition to the Falcons defense and would make the NFC South interesting on the defensive side of the ball.
- Dallas Cowboys–K’Lavon Chaisson, EDGE, LSU
The Cowboys need some pass rush help along with help in their secondary. With Henderson off the board, Chaisson is the pick here for me. He is a young and twitchy edge rusher who would do well in the Cowboys culture. He’s young but there is good value in this pick at this point in the Draft.
- Miami Dolphins–Xavier Mckinney, S, Alabama
The Dolphins unexpectedly traded Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Steelers during the 2019 season. They need to find his replacement, and at #18, Mckinney is a good pick. Paired with the defensive backs the Dolphins have, this has the chance to be quite a solid secondary.
- Oakland Raiders–Kristian Fulton, CB, LSU
The Raiders definitely need some help at cornerback. Kristian Fulton is a very underrated corner in this draft and I feel like this would be a great pick for them. Their defense needs a lot of work in a lot of places and this would be a great addition.
- Jacksonville Jaguars–Grant Delpit, S, LSU
Another LSU player is off the board. The Jaguars need help at the safety position. Grant Delpit is very similar to Jamal Adams. He is a versatile safety who can cover receivers if need be. With a Jaguars defense that needs help, he’s a great choice here.
- Philadelphia Eagles–Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU
The Eagles need pass catchers. Badly. Justin Jefferson is still on the board here. He is a reliable receiver who will catch passes with ease. He reminds me of Jarvis Landry in how he is successful in beating you with the little stuff. Considering how often Agholor dropped passes, Jefferson should be a solid improvement.
- Minnesota Vikings–Denzel Mims, WR, Baylor
The loss of Stefon Diggs won’t be easy but Mims would be a great replacement. Mims has the ability to hurt you deep and with how well he catches contested balls. He should be a pretty good option to replace Diggs.
- New England Patriots–Jordan Love, QB, Utah State
Brady is gone. It finally happened. Jordan Love is an interesting prospect and one that could possibly be a work in progress. He is raw and has some issues with his decision making but he also has a big arm and a lot of upside. I believe with time he could be a good quarterback and the future for the Patriots.
- New Orleans Saints–Kenneth Murray, ILB, Oklahoma

Kenneth Murray is a monster and he has the tape to prove it. He is fast, hard hitting, and mean. He would do well in the NFC South and would be a monster for offenses to deal with. The Saints would be smart to take him if he is available.
- Minnesota Vikings–Jeff Gladney, CB, TCU
Gladney is a great prospect. He is outstanding in press coverage and transitioning out of press. He could learn to be a little more physical, but he also has terrific ball skills. With having to replace Trae Waynes, this pick makes sense for the Vikings.
- Miami Dolphins–Zach Baun, EDGE, Wisconsin
While the Dolphins don’t necessarily need an edge rusher, it wouldn’t hurt either. Baun is the best defensive player available right now and the Dolphins do a pretty good job at developing pass rushers. This would be a great way to finish off the first round of the Draft for them.
- Seattle Seahawks–AJ Epenesa, EDGE, Iowa
The Seahawks need some help with their pass rush. AJ Epenesa would do well as a defensive end on their squad. He has very powerful hands and a great deal of strength to make life miserable for offensive lineman.
- Baltimore Ravens–Patrick Queen, ILB, LSU
Patrick Queen has been jumping up draft boards for a good reason. He has all the traits to be a great inside linebacker in the NFL. He is the first to the ball, explosive, and he has a mean streak. It’s easy to see him in a Ravens uniform.
- Tennessee Titans–Neville Gallimore, IDL, Oklahoma
Gallimore is an impressive defensive lineman. He is short, stocky, and strong. He has good hands and does a great job of fighting to get to the ball carrier. Gallimore’s tackling could use some work but this would be a great pick for Tennessee at #29.
- Green Bay Packers–Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU
Jalen Reagor is a deep threat and he is notorious for that part of his game. He is super quick and is hard to catch if you let him get in front of you. A downside is he doesn’t have the best route tree or route running, but he makes up for it with the big play factor. The Packers need pass catchers for Aaron Rodgers and Reagor would be a good one.
- San Francisco 49ers–Cesar Ruiz, IOL, Michigan
Cesar Ruiz is a great prospect with loads of potential for the pros. He is a phenomenal interior lineman who has the potential to be a solid contributor for years to come. Ruiz is powerful and versatile and would be a solid pickup for the Niners with their second pick of the Draft.
- Kansas City Chiefs–Ross Blacklock, IDL, TCU

Ross Blacklock is an interesting prospect. He has some rare traits that need to be developed and honed in more. His game reminds me a lot of Gerald McCoy’s with his style of play. He will have to make some adjustments to his game. With no solid linebacker on the board, this pick makes sense here.
