Cowboys Select Trevon Diggs at No. 51

It’s day two of the 2020 NFL Draft and if day one was wild, then what will day two bring? Here in Dallas Texas, the Cowboys drafted Oklahoma wide receiver, CeeDee Lamb, with the 17th overall pick. Most fans and draft experts thought they were going to draft a player based on a position they need. Now, with pick 51 expect the pick to be a position of need.

Second Round Pick: Trevon Diggs

With the 51st pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, the Dallas Cowboys select Cornerback Trevon Diggs. If the name sounds familiar it is because he is the brother of Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stephon Diggs.

Trevon Diggs played all four seasons (2016-2019) with the Alabama Crimson Tide. All four seasons his team made the college football playoffs and in 2018, Alabama won the National Championship against the Clemson Tigers.

Shortly after being drafted, he jumped on to local radio and said that he was star-struck when talking to Owner and General Manager Jerry Jones. He loves the Dallas Cowboys and his dream was to play with the Dallas Cowboys. Now, he will get his chance. when asking for football help, he calls him “Mr. Google.”

Congratulations on being drafted in the NFL Trevon.
