Andrei Arlovski upsets Philipe Lins via Unanimous Decision
The Veteran Andrei Arlovski showed he was going nowhere. Arlovski used his experience to keep the Brazilian Lins at bay. In turn by controlling the fight. In turn, By controlling the fight, Arlovski was able to edge out a decisive victory via Unanimous Decision with the judges scoring 30-27, 30-27, and 29-28 and ending Lins 4 fight win streak. Ricky Simon edges out a split decision win over Ray Borg
Ricky Simon and Ray Borg had an impressive bout from bell to bell. Both Simon and Borg had their moments but sadly, there is only one winner. Ricky Simon was able to edge out a split decision win with the judges scoring the fight 29-28, 29-28, 28-29. As a result, Ricky Simon was able to end his two-fight losing streak and ending Borg’s win-streak of 2. What’s next for the fighters?

Drew Dober puts away Alexander Hernandez
Both Dober and Hernandez waited for no one to get to work. From the beginning of the bell, both fighters threw their strikes with bad intentions. Dober was able to finish the fight with a combination of sprawls and ground and pound to finish the fight late into the second round. This puts Dober in prime position to challenge the top 15 and extends his winning streak to 3.

Ben Rothwell spoils Saint-Preux’s heavyweight debut
Ben Rothwell took pleasure in welcoming Ovince Saint Preux to the Heavyweight division. Both fighters looked to finish the fight with Saint Preux even scoring a knockdown in the final seconds of the second round. However, It was not enough to overtake Rothwell’s overall pressure as the judges scored the bout 29-28, 29-28, 28-29 in favor of Rothwell. This win extends Rothwell’s win-streak to 2. Glover Teixeira upsets Anthony Smith
In the main event of the night, it was a light heavyweight brawl between the veteran Glover Teixeira and Anthony Smith. Both fighters are former title challengers with both losing to Jon Jones. It wasn’t until the 3rd round where we saw Teixeira’s assault. Both fighters were tied evenly on the scorecards but needed a finish to solidify their position in the high ranks of the 205’s. The bell of the final round rang and immediately both fighters were on the ground with Teixeira in a top position and finishing the fight via TKO to extend his win streak to 4.
