Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears 2020 season is a put up or shut up kind of year for a lot of people in the organization. Mainly general manager Ryan Pace, head coach Matt Nagy, and quarterback Mitch Trubisky. There is still hope for all of them being the right people in charge, but only time will tell. The roster is filled with potential all pros. However, there are a few positions that could be upgraded. The most important one is the offensive line. Today we will take a look at a few players the Chicago Bears will be keeping a close eye on for the 2021 NFL Draft.

Chicago Bears Target: Penei Sewell

Penei Sewell is one of the best Left Tackles to come out in a long time. Sewell is 6’6 325 pounds from the University of Oregon. He is a lock to go top five in the NFL Draft. So the only way the Chicago Bears will be able to acquire such talent is through having a very tough season. As hard is that to handle, having a player like Penei Sewell will make all of us forget 2020 fast. Sewell is my fifth-ranked player in the class of 2021. All while being just 19 years old.

Chicago Bears Target: Samuel Cosmi

Samuel Cosmi is the Left Tackle for Texas and is listed at 6’7 and 311 pounds. He was three-star coming out of high school. Cosmi will be the first Texas offensive lineman taken in the first round since 2002. An outstanding athlete for his size and continues to improve year after year on his pass protection. Cosmi is my tenth-ranked player in the class of 2021.

The Blind Side

The game of football has turned in to flashy sport with a lot of high scoring games, besides our beloved Chicago Bears, of course. However, none of that would be possible if it wasn’t for the big guys upfront. And when the college football season kicks off, pay extra close attention to these two players. They won’t be hard to miss.
