Earlier in the day, Houston Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni made a statement that he expected all of the Rockets to be in Orlando. News just came down that forward Thabo Sefolosha has decided not to play in Orlando according to Adrian Wojnarowski

With this news, the Rockets should have an open roster spot. It can also mean more time for players like Bruno Caboclo and mid-season signing DeMarre Carroll. Sefolosha was on the edge of the main rotation playing 10.6 minutes a game in his first year with the Rockets.
The veteran had started getting backup center minutes with the Rockets small ball lineup but now the Houston Rockets must fill the roster spot left by his departure. Recently on Kelly Iko podcast Sefolosha spoke of the huge commitment of leaving your family for several months. This may have been the major factor in his decision.
Isaiah Hartenstein is an option but since he was waived after March 1st he wouldn’t be eligible for postseason play. Unless the NBA adjusts the rules for this year.
