This fantastic card will feature a women’s flyweight fight between up-and-comers Ariane Lipski and Luana Carolina that is sure to entertain. Both of these fighters are coming off of a win in their last fight inside the octagon and will be seeking to extend their respective win streaks.

Lipski’s History

Ariane Lipski did not have a great start to her UFC career. After losing three of her first five pro fights, Lipski went on a massive win streak of nine wins. Lipski earned her UFC shot on the strength of this streak but ran into the more experienced Joanne Calderwood in her debut. Unfortunately for Lipski, Calderwood was on her A-game and dominated the Brazilian in her UFC debut for a unanimous decision loss. Things did not get better for Lipski in her second UFC fight, as she lost to Molly McCann via unanimous decision. However, in her last UFC fight, Lipski was able to emerge victorious over Isabela de Padua by way of a convincing unanimous decision. Can Lipski get her second win inside the UFC against a hungry Luana Carolina?

Carolina’s History

Luana Carolina’s rise to the UFC has been extremely fast. Carolina beat Mabelly Lima in just her sixth professional fight on Dana White’s Contender Series. In her next fight, Carolina dominated Priscila Cachoeira in a unanimous decision win. However, not long after her first UFC win is when tragedy struck. Leading up to her scheduled fight against Yanan Wu, Carolina discovered that she had a rare fracture in her spine. After months of intense physical therapy and training, Carolina is ready to continue her meteoric rise. Can Luana Carolina emerge triumphant over Ariane Lipski in her return to the octagon after over a year out of action?!

Fight Prediction

Every fight these two women have been in once inside the UFC has resulted in a unanimous decision. Fans should expect this fight to be no different. Although both fighters have a history of finishing their opponents, those finishes all occurred before either fighter joined the UFC. These are two evenly matched women with fantastic chins and great defense. So, who will emerge as the winner of Lipski vs Carolina?

There is a reason Luana Carolina made it to the UFC as quickly as she did. To put it plainly, she is just that good. After over a year out of action, Carolina will be hungry and determined to remind everyone that she is coming for the flyweight belt.

This will not be an easy win. Ariane Lipski is an outstanding fighter that might be just as hungry as Carolina. However, I expect Carolina to emerge victorious after an absolute war between these two gladiators. I may be predicting a decision, but don’t be surprised if this one ends early as both fighters are looking to make a statement in this fight.
