Will Wade has found his solution for his front court problem this up coming season. Washington transfer Bryan Penn-Johnson has committed to LSU. After missing out on five star center Moussa Cisse this week, Will Wade desperately needed to add another front court piece. Penn-Johnson is a very solid pick up for Will Wade and his staff.
Bryan Penn-Johnson is a 7’0 center from Long Beach, California. He is a former four star recruit from the class of 2018. He chose Washington over DePaul during his high school recruiting process. Penn-Johnson averaged 1.8 PPG and 0.8 REB last season at Washington. He decided to enter the transfer portal after two years at Washington. Today, he announced he would be joining Will Wade and committing to the LSU Tigers.
Bryan Penn-Johnson answers a lot of questions for Will Wade in the front court if he is eligible. He will file for a waiver to get immediate eligibility. He will help a lot with his shot blocking ability and could be a force on the glass due to his size. If Will Wade and his staff can get him eligible, LSU will be one of the better teams in the SEC this upcoming season.
