Russell Westbrook a little over a week after announcing on Social Media that he tested positive for Covid-19 will land in Orlando today. Mike D’Antoni and multiple sources have confirmed Westbrook’s arrival.

Westbrook will have to quarantine to his room until he receives two negative Covid-19 results at least 24 hours apart. There is a possibility that Westbrook can have limited playing time in the Rockets scrimmage on Friday. D’Antoni also commented on this possibility.

“I do expect that once he clears everything that he’ll be ready to go five on five and all that,” D’Antoni said. “Friday might be a little early. That’ll be up to the medical staff and Russell himself, see how he feels in the days before. Hopefully, he’ll get in a couple of (team) scrimmages and then be ready for Russ to play. We’ll expect him to hit the ground running a little bit, but we’ll be a little careful just because of the timetable.

With Westbrook arrival the Rockets will have everyone in the bubble except for Luc Mbah Moute who should arrive soon.
