The Miami Dolphins took three players off the COVID-19 list. The three players taken off the list were Davon Godchaux, Brandon Jones, and Shaq Lawson. Each of these players is going to be potential starters on the Miami Dolphins, so it is a good sign, that they recovered quickly.
Davon Godchaux is currently going to be the starting defensive tackle for the Miami Dolphins. Godchaux is heading into his fourth season in the NFL, but he is 26 years old. This could be a make or break year for Godchaux to get the money he deserves. Last season with the team Godchaux had two sacks, 75 tackles, and four tackles for loss.
Brandon Jones was drafted with the 70th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He will be competing for the starting safety position, which could be a hard position to fight for this season between Bobby McCain and Eric Rowe. Jones is also on the younger side of an NFL player since he is only 23 years old.
Shaq Lawson signed a three-year deal, worth $30 million dollars, which he could opt out in year two. Lawson was a star pass rusher for the Bills last season, as he had 6.5 sacks, 32 tackles, and 13 tackles for loss. He will be an influential player on the Dolphins defensive line since the Dolphins edge rushers were not well last season.
