The Miami Dolphins needed some veteran wide receivers to fill the void of Allen Hurns and Albert Wilson opting out of the 2020 NFL season. The Dolphins went out and signed Ricardo Louis and Chester Rogers to one-year deals.
Chester Rogers went to Grambling State University in college and was a complete stud for the Tigers. Rogers put up three consecutive seasons receiving for over 700 yards and 15 touchdowns in three years. In his senior season, Rodgers went into the 2016 NFL Draft but never heard his name get called on the big stage. He went undrafted and was signed by the Indianapolis Colts, which would end up being his home for the next four seasons.
In his four seasons with the Colts, Rogers received 1,221 receiving yards, 111 receptions, and five touchdowns. Rogers is a veteran wide receiver in the NFL since he has four years of experience. He will add some depth to the Dolphins receiving core and will compete for a roster spot. Overall, Rogers can compete for a roster spot on the Miami Dolphins.
