The Houston Rockets have had a very good restart so far. They are 4-1 with a top 5 offense and top 10 defense. Even while playing without Eric Gordon for several games and Russell Westbrook for the last two games.
The Houston Rockets of course have already clinched a playoff spot and are closing in on clinching no worse than the fifth seed. Several other teams who have clinched playoffs and certain seeds have already started to rest their starters. Add the Rockets to that list.
Houston Rockets Stars coming and going
James Harden who rarely misses games even while suffering injuries that would put most players out is according to Johnathan Feigen will sit out tomorrow game for rest. This will be Harden’s first game missed of the bubble.
Russell Westbrook will return for one of the back to back games more than likely tomorrow while sitting out the other game. Eric Gordon who has been out for several weeks will return for Wednesday game more than likely on a minute limit. Gordon return is worth watching as he will part of the Rockets nine-man rotation but it is possible he could lose minutes if he season-long shooting woes don’t improve.
This will give players like Austin Rivers, Danuel House and Robert Covington even more opportunities to lead the offense. It will also give Westbrook a chance to come back and run point for the entire game as he gets his legs back after missing the last two games.
