The Miami Dolphins have signed former Raiders, Bills, Texans, Jaguars, Redskins, and Steelers cornerback, Breon Borders.

Breon Borders went to Statesville Highschool, where he was a two-star athlete. In highschool, Borders was 6-1, 160-pound cornerback, and he committed to Duke University.

Borders played cornerback for Duke University. He was a starter all four years at cornerback. In his four seasons with Duke, Borders had 12 interceptions, 34 passes defended, and 149 total tackles.

Borders was an undrafted free agent and signed with the Buffalo Bills in 2017. So far in his NFL career, Borders has played 13 games with 7 NFL teams. Borders has racked up seven combined tackles, and one quarterback hit over his career.

Borders will be a depth cornerback for the Miami Dolphins at most, since the Dolphins already have seven cornerbacks on the roster, not including Xavien Howard, since he currently has COVID-19. Also, since Borders is only 25 years old, he is only the average age for an NFL player. Overall, Borders should compete for a roster spot for the Dolphins, but it is doubtful he will make the team.
