The Miami Dolphins waived safety, Steven Parker, and tight end Bryce Sterk, after signing cornerback Deatrick Nichols.
Steven Parker signed with the Los Angeles Rams as an undrafted free agent on April 28, 2018. Then, the Los Angeles Rams waived Parker from the 53 man roster. Then, Parker was signed to the practice squad for the Las Angles Rams. The Rams waive Parker again at the end of the preseason on August 31, 2019. After Parker was waived from the Rams, he was signed by the Miami Dolphins. He made his NFL debut on September 8, 2019, and made his first career start on September 22, 2019. Parker finished his rookie season with the Dolphins with 20 tackles, three passes defended, and two interceptions in 14 games and four starts.
In college, Bryce Sterk played outside linebacker and defensive end. Sterk redshirted his freshman season and won the team’s Ultimate Dirt Dawg Award for his work in the weight room. In 2016, he had two tackles and one fumble recovery, which he played in two games for the team. In 2017, Sterk did not see any game time, which was disappointing, then he went to the NFL Draft. The Dolphins signed Sterk as an undrafted free agent to switch him to tight end, but then he was shortly waived by the team.
