Jeremiah Dinson attended Auburn University from 2015 – 2019. He only played in 2015 and 2017 – 2019 on the active roster. In his freshman season at Auburn, Dinson had 15 tackles in six games, but he did not see the field much in his freshman season. He then sat out his sophomore season, but then came back for his sophomore football season. In his second season with the team, Dinson had 47 tackles, four passes defended, and 2.5 sacks. He began to see more of a starting role on the roster. In his junior season, Dinson had 64 tackles, three passes defended, and two interceptions. In his senior season, Dinson had 88 tackles, one pass defended, and two interceptions. Overall, Dinson had a good college career, then went to the NFL Draft.

NFL Career

In the 2020 NFL Draft Dinson went undrafted but was signed by the Detroit Lions. The Lions then waived Dinson on August 14th, which then he was claimed by the Dolphins on August 15th. So far we have not seen much of Dinson, but he could be a promising young cornerback for the Dolphins. Overall, Dinson will compete for a depth cornerback position, but is more likely to make the practice squad.
