Let’s take a closer look at Rodlek vs Kulabdam.

Rodlek Returns!

Despite not getting the judges nod in his last fight against Saemapetch. Rodlek finds himself back in the Bantamweight Muay Thai tournament.

But which version of Rodlek will meet Kulabdam at A New Breed? The one that dominated Liam Harrison, or the one that faltered against Saemapetch?

The only thing that’s for sure is that the Steel Locomotive won’t take this second chance for granted. He was already derailed once, he won’t let that happen again.

There’s actually an argument that this match-up is a much better one for Rodlek as Saemapetch was the superior counter-puncher. Kulabdam much like Rodlek likes to move forward and that might play right into the latter’s gameplan.

However, Rodlek will need every advantage (skills and psychological) he can get when he faces Kulabdam.

Powerful Momentum

Kulabdam shocked a lot of people not just for winning against “Million Dollar Baby” Sangmanee, but for knocking him out in the first round.

Very few analysts saw that coming and everyone is wary of what Kulabdam is actually capable of and what he will do next.

Though the match-up may not be in his favor, momentum definitely is. Kulabdam is definitely riding high over such a recent upset, and a psychological boost like that could both buff him and de-buff his opponent.

The biggest ace up Kulabdam’s sleeve though is that with the Sangmanee fight he proved to be an unknown quantity.

The fight was too short to provide any kind of insight for us or Rodlek’s camp to gauge Kulabdam’s true ability.

This means gameplans are pretty much out the window at least on the Steel Locomotive side.

Who Takes It?

Expect these two to smash into each other as often as they can and fists flying in every direction.

The psychology of each fighter is going to be huge in this fight. Kulabdam is riding high, while Rodlek will be hungry to prove himself worthy of this finals spot.

Confidence decides the winner for this fight. This means that even the smallest advantage during the fight can raise one while unraveling another.

Look closely at each clash, because any one moment can become the deciding factor in this fight.
