Welcome to the Daily Miami Dolphins Notes, on September 6th, 2020. The topics are that all of the practice squad members sign with the team today.
Practice Squad Breakdown
Antonio Callaway, Wide Receiver
Antonio Callaway has the whole package, the size, the speed, and the talent, but he has made some mistakes in his NFL career. He is facing a suspension for failing the drug policy that the NFL has put into place. In his first two seasons with the Browns, Callaway has 51 receptions, 675 receiving yards, and five touchdowns. Overall, Callaway should be an awesome potential wide receiver for the Dolphins in the future.
Jake Rudock, Quarterback

Jake Rudock was released from the team earlier in the offseason, but after Josh Rosen was released he was brought back to the practice squad. Rudock is 27 years old and the only game he has played in was for the Lions in 2017, which he threw one interception. Overall, Rudock is an emergency quarterback, if Ryan Fitzpatrick and Tua Tagovailoa ever became hurt.Â
Tae Hayes, Cornerback

Tae Hayes is one roster spot away from being on the active roster. He was traded to the Dolphins last season, from the Jaguars. In his first season, Hayes has seven tackles, two passes defended, and three games. Overall, Hayes could be on the final roster at any point this season.
Kirk Merritt, Wide Receiver
Kirk Merritt is an undrafted free agent this season and he is known to be a complete stud on the football field. In his collegiate career, Merritt has 158 receptions, 1,872 receiving yards, and 19 touchdowns. Overall, Merritt has a good shot to make the Dolphins final roster next season.Â
Durval Queiroz Neto, Offensive Guard
Durval Queiroz Neto is a Brazilan standout who was on the Dolphins practice squad last season as well. He has not been on the field, since he has been in the NFL. Overall, Neto has potential, but overall he is just an emergency offensive guard.
Chris Myarick, Tight End

Chris Myarick is a tight end for the Dolphins practice squad but was a tight end at Temple as well. In his collegiate career, Myarick has 23 receptions, 229 receiving yards, and one touchdown. Overall, Myarick is not much of a receiving tight end, but he is a good blocking tight end.Â
Jonathan Hubbard, Offensive Tackle
Jonathan Hubbard is an undrafted free agent out of Northwestern State University. Overall, Hubbard has the potential to be a decent offensive tackle, but overall he is nothing special.
Salvon Ahmed, Running Back

Salvon Ahmed is a former San Francisco 49ers running back after he was claimed off waivers by the Dolphins. In his collegiate career, Ahmed has 353 rushing attempts, 2,016 rushing yards, and 21 touchdowns. Overall, Ahmed has the potential to be a back-up running back, but he will be on the practice squad this season.
Nate Holley, Safety

Nate Holley is a former CFL star, who has attempted to make the Dolphins roster this season. In his one season in the CFL, Holley has 78 defensive tackles, one interception, and one sack. Overall, Holley is a decent talent, but he should have a chance to fill into the starting roster in the future.
Tyshun Render, Defensive End
Tyshun Render is a former Middle Tennessee State star, who is an undrafted free agent this season. In his collegiate career, Render has 119 tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, and 6.5 sacks. Overall, Render has tremendous talent, which could lead to him making the roster in the future.Â
Javaris Davis, Cornerback

Javaris Davis is a former Auburn cornerback, which seems to be the Dolphin’s favorite college. In his collegiate career, Davis has 150 tackles, 27 passes defended, and eight interceptions. Overall, Davis should be a decent talent on the practice squad, which is good for the Dolphins.Â
Matt Cole, Wide Receiver
Matt Cole is an impressive returner and receiver for McKendree University last season. In his senior season, Cole has 708 kick return yards, 939 receiving yards, and 12 receiving touchdowns. Overall, Cole is an underrated wide receiver for the Dolphins, which could result in him getting signed in the future.
Brian Cole, Safety
Brian Cole is a talent at the safety position after playing two seasons at Mississippi State. In his collegiate career, Cole has 78 tackles, two passes defended, and two interceptions. Overall, Cole could compete for the safety position throughout the season.Â
Nick Coe, Defensive End

Nick Coe another Auburn University talent is signed to the Dolphins practice squad. In his collegiate career, Coe has 70 tackles, 21 tackles for loss, and nine sacks. Overall, Coe is a good pass-rushing talent, which could come in handy in the future for Miami.Â
Kylan Johnson, Linebacker
Kylan Johnson attended Florida for four years but then transferred to Pittsburgh in his senior season. In his collegiate career, Johnson has 132 tackles, 16 tackles for loss, and eight sacks. Overall, Johnson is a decent linebacker talent, who could contend for a spot on the roster in the future.
Benito Jones, Defensive Tackle
Benito Jones is a former Ole Miss defensive tackle for four seasons. In his collegiate career, Jones has 132 tackles, 31 tackles for loss, and 10.5 sacks. Overall, Jones is a tremendous talent for the Dolphins and he has a chance to make the final roster in the future.Â
