Welcome to the Daily Miami Dolphins Notes, on September 10th, 2020. The topics are, interviews with, coach, Brian Flores, and, running back, Jordan Howard, the Dolphins signed a long snapper and more…

Brian Flores Interview

Brian Flores had an interview with Travis Wingfield and the media today, as they asked him a few questions. He mentions how if he was in a situation like the Chiefs and Texans, and how he would react to the situations. He also says how “if you can get the players and coaches on the same page. It has to be transparent, honest.” Then, Flores makes a joke stating how there are times when his whole team comes off the field saying they were double-teamed. His response was that not everyone could get double-teamed, which gave everyone a good laugh. In conclusion, Coach Flores is excited for week one of the regular season and to see how his team has improved from last year.

Jordan Howard does not mind who starts in week one, since all of the running backs will get lots of touches. He says how important communication with the coaching staff is to make gameplay changes. Howard tells the media that once you start making adjustments, then other teams will make adjustments to you. Also, he states that he will not be much of a receiving back this season, but that it is ok. Overall, Howard should get lots of snaps for the team, which will lead to many touchdowns.

Dolphins Sign, Long Snapper, Matt Orzech

Matt Orzech was a rookie last season as he contended for a long snapping job with the Ravens. After losing the starting position he was released by the team and signed with the Jaguars. Then, he became the starting long snapper for the Jaguars, but they decided to not re-sign him after the season. Orzech had a tryout with Miami a couple of days ago, and just recently he was signed to the practice squad. In the end, Orzech should be able to compete for a starting long snapper position on the Dolphins.

Miami Dolphins Plans During Both Anthems

The Dolphins announced today that they will be staying inside their locker rooms for both Anthems. They will be playing the games, but will not be on the field for the National Anthems. In conclusion, they made a video of their reasoning behind their decision on Dolphins Twitter.
