Welcome to the Daily Miami Dolphins Notes, on September 11th, 2020. The topics are the final injury report and Mike Gesicki’s opinion on being a back-up.
Dolphins Injury Report
The Dolphins had a few players on the questionable list a couple of days ago, but today there is only one. Special teams captain and safety, Clayton Fejedelem is doubtful for the week one game against the Patriots. Also, every other player on the Dolphins is planning on playing this week. In the end, Fejedelem will be a major loss for the Dolphins special teams, but it is not as bad as it was projected earlier in the week.
Mike Gesicki on Being the Back-up

On the Dolphins depth chart, Mike Gesicki has been named the back-up tight end for the Dolphins. Durham Smythe is the starter for the Dolphins week one. Gesicki says he wasn’t told about the depth chart till he saw it get released on Monday. He doesn’t seem bothered by it and says Smythe does not get enough credit. Overall, Gesicki and Smythe will both get the ball a bunch in week one.
