Welcome to the Daily Miami Dolphins Notes, on September 16th, 2020. The topics are, practice squad signings, injury reports, and more…
Injury Report

Good news, DeVante Parker was seen in pads today and looks healthy. Parker pulled his hamstring in the game against the Patriots last Sunday. Clayton Fejedelem was at practice after not playing in the game this week. He is a special teams captain, so his presence on the field is immense for the team. Elandon Roberts was not at practice today, since he is in concussion protocol. Overall, mostly good news for the Dolphins, but hopefully Roberts does not have a concussion.
Shaq Lawson Interview

Adam Beasley interviewed Shaq Lawson today for a small interview. First, Lawson talked about the amount of money the Bills offered compared to the Dolphins. He says the difference in money offered by bills “was a little off” from what the Dolphins offered. Also, when asked about the 217 rushing yards the Patriots had his response was “I put that on me”. Overall, Lawson is sounding more like a captain each day, so we will have to wait and see.
Two Players Signed to Practice Squad
The Dolphins signed cornerback Cordrea Tankersley, and offensive lineman Tyler Gauthier. To open the two practice squad spots the Dolphins lost, cornerback Ken Webster to the 49ers and linebacker Kylan Johnson to injuries. Tankersley has played two seasons, seven passes defended, and 36 tackles. Gauthier is a rookie offensive lineman, so he should be a decent addition. Overall, Tankersley and Gauthier have lots of talent, but Webster will be a major loss on the practice squad.
