Aung La N Sang: “I’m Gonna Smash His Face On The Floor If He Tries to Take Me Down”

On October 30th, we will witness one of the best cards in the promotion’s history with ONE: Inside The Matrix. Headlining the card is two-division ONE World Champion Aung La “The Burmese Python” N Sang defending his belt against undefeated challenger, Reinier DeRidder.

In your last fight, you knocked out Brandon Vera. Have you ever thought of moving up and challenging Brandon for the ONE Heavyweight Title, to be the first-ever 3 division title-holder?

Not to look past this fight but are we going to see you defend the light heavyweight title next?

“I’m down with anything. Line up the contenders, I’m ready to stay active. This year like I said has been very good to me as far as my body goes. So I’m just ready for anything”

It is expected that Reinier is going to take this fight to the ground, has this led to you putting extra focus on this during camp, or is it the same as usual going out there to ko him?

“I’m gonna stuff his head on the floor. I’m gonna smash his face on the floor if he tries to take me down. I’m gonna smash his face on the canvas”
