Overtime Heroics had the chance to speak with Aung La N Sang in the post-fight interviews. In the interview, heays that he wants to stay active and suggests someone he wants to have as his next fight.

On ONE: Inside the Matrix, fans all over the world witnessed what could arguably be the greatest upset in ONE Championship history. Myanmar hero and star Aung La N Sang was defeated by Reinier De Ridder in the first round, via rear-naked choke.

Aung La N Sang was riding a 7 fight win streak and was aiming to defend his middleweight belt for the 4th time. The Myanmar superstar was heavily favored to win the fight as Reinier De Ridder was an up and comer who has yet to be tested by a solidified champion.

A truly heartbreaking loss, especially for Myanmar, who has vastly supported and loved their hero. Aung La N Sang was in good spirits after the fight, accepting his loss and crediting Reinier De Ridder for the very good job that he has done.

“Yeah, we could do a trilogy match against Bigdash. We can do another bout. You know, I don"t need an immediate rematch, I wanna stay active, I wanna come back you know."
