Kiamrian Abbasov vs James Nakashima
JAMES “NAKO” NAKASHIMA – The undefeated American James Nakashima is a well rounded fighter. Having wrestling as his foundation in martial arts, Nakashima has honed his craft under various fields like Boxing, Muay Thai, and Jiu-Jitsu. Nakashima also had trained under the best kickboxer of all time, Team Petrosyan.
James Nakashima is undefeated with 12 wins. He is a former LFA (Legacy Fighting Alliance) Welterweight Champion, and currently a 3 fight win streak in ONE Championship. The American currently trains out of MMA Lab.
On the standup, Nakashima is more of a technical striker who favors accurate striking rather than exchanging with opponents. The downside of Nakashima’s resume is that he only has 1 finish in his 12 fights, and that finish was via a doctor stoppage due to injury.
KIAMRIAN “BRAZEN” ABBASOV – The current ONE Welterweight Champion has come a long way to having the success he has now. Raised in Kyrgyzstan, he had trained Greco-Roman wrestling and Boxing. Abbasov has won multiple local championships en route to the biggest of his career, the ONE Welterweight belt.
Kiamrian Abbasov rode a 10 fight winning streak before signing with ONE Championship, however the hot prospect hadn’t got that much attention as he lost his debut fight to Luis Santos. Kiamran would bounce back, finishing Malaysian star Agilan Thani, and knocking out Yushin Okami.
He then finally got his shot at the championship belt, and dominated the champion. Now aged 27, his all around game and skill-set sets him to be reigning for long.
