After failing to secure a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series, Kevin ’Trailblazer’ Holland has made a spectacular impression in the UFC, with some highlight-reel knockouts on his resume.
Kevin Holland – Rise To Contention
Kevin Holland made his official UFC debut when called upon to face Light Heavyweight title contender Thiago Santos at UFC 227: Dillashaw vs. Garbrandt 2, which is no easy task for any newcomer.
The 28-year old has made the walk to the UFC octagon 9 times, with a record of (7-2), competing in across both Welterweight and Middleweight.
A successful 2020, competing four times and racking up wins over Hernandez, Buckley, Stewart and Ontiveros has granted Holland a shot at No.4 ranked Middleweight Jack Hermannson.

Jack Hermansson was scheduled to take on Liverpool’s Darren Till in the main event of a UFC Fight Night in Las Vegas. Unfortunate circumstances have occurred and Till is out due to injury.
The UFC presented Hermansson with five opponents to step-in, who all declined. One man who answered the call, was the always game Kevin Holland.
Kevin Holland has a big challenge ahead of him, but an even bigger opportunity. If victorious over Hermansson, Holland will catapult up the Middleweight rankings and could be within touching distance of a title shot.
