The Trilogy Strikes Back! Cage Warriors Set to Return with Second Trilogy Series

Cage Warriors are gearing up to offer yet another trilogy of events next month, in ‘Cage Warriors: The Trilogy Strikes Back’.

The first event, – The Trilogy – took place in September and was a triumphant success for the European promotion – getting their athletes back in the spotlight after months of forced hiatus. Over the course of the three cards not a single bout disappointed, plus we got to see multiple word titles changing hands including the crowning of Cage Warriors’ first double champ in seven years in Mason Jones, now signed to the UFC.

Considering the success of The Trilogy, it was a no-brainer to do it all again, though I have to admit the turnaround from September to December is surprisingly quick. Not that I’m complaining. We don’t have many fights announced yet, but of the ones that have been, I’m particularly looking forward to the flyweight title fight between Luke Shanks and Jake Hadley. Luke Shanks put on an excellent performance in the first night of The Trilogy, and it’s great to see him remaining active and defending his belt so soon.

Be sure to check back as we approach December 10th as many more fights are soon to be announced. If the last event is anything to go by we have one hell of a weekend ahead of us as another batch of top European talent get their first chance to shine this (dreadful) year.
