After three fascinating installments of the Inside the Matrix event series, ONE Championship closes out with its final chapter in ONE: Inside the Matrix IV. Inside the Matrix IV gives us a ONE Super Series main and co-main event, on top of some intriguing mixed martial arts bouts.
The pre-recorded Inside the Matrix IV will be aired on November 20. This event will feature matches scoping all of the martial disciplines that ONE has offered. Here are 4 things you should know about ONE: Inside the Matrix IV fighters.
(1) No-Gi Grappling World Champion, and husband of Angela Lee
The Women’s Atomweight World Champion Angela Lee has been very open about her relationship with her husband. However many fans seem to not know that her husband, Bruno “Puccibull” Pucci is actually a decorated martial artist himself. Bruno Pucci is a 2-time No-Gi Grappling World Champion, having back-to-back titles in 2009 and 2010. In 2011, he transitioned to MMA and became a part of the famed Evolve Fight Team in Singapore.
There, he met Angela Lee. They became friends for a while until Bruno Pucci slowly won Angela over. They started dating late 2016 and got married July 2018. Since the marriage, Bruno Pucci has fought 3 times. Bruno holds a record of 7 wins and 4 losses, with all of his wins coming via finishes.
(2) “The Big Heart” Yoon Chang Min’s perfect record and 100% finishing rate
South Korean phenom and undefeated rising star Yoon “The Big Heart” Chang Min, will make his 5th appearance in ONE Championship. The 26-year-old South Korean holds a perfect record of 4 wins, with 3 of his wins being submissions, 1 being a knockout.
Yoon Chang Min is an all-around fighter. He started training Kickboxing as a child and even became an Amateur Boxing Champion. Not only does he have an excellent stand-up game and a terrific counter attacker, but he also is a strong wrestler.
Yoon Chang Min has been dominant so far in ONE. He will be tested against Ryogo Takahashi who also has been showing great potential in the division. If Yoon Chang Min can pull off another win, he will surely have the attention of the top-ranked contenders.
(3) World Champion vs World Champion
Featuring the co-main event of this card, two Muay Thai World Champions will face each other. WBC Muay Thai World Champion Joseph Lasiri and WPMF Muay Thai World Champion Rocky Ogden, looks to get back on the winning column hoping to get another crack at the current champion, Sam-A Gaiyanghadao.
Both men each had their chances at becoming the ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion. However, they also both fell at the hands of the reigning champion. The clash of their styles is truly an exciting sight to witness.
(4) Debut of Russian Muay Thai Champion Aslanbek Zikreev
Making his ONE debut, directly being in the main event of a card, is Aslanbek Zikreev. A Russian and European Muay Thai Champion who brings a scary pace in his fighting style. Zikreev loves to attack in flurries and dictate the pacing of the fight. Zikreev’s most powerful weapon is his explosive kicks.
Although a Muay Thai Champion, Aslanbek Zikreev will be making his debut in the Kickboxing area of ONE Super Series. Zikreev looks to make an impact on the division with his debut. However, he will have to pass through a very tough test in the “Golden Boy” Wang Junguang. Junguang came into the division facing a similar situation. The Golden Boy got a title shot in just his second fight but lost against the current ONE Kickboxing Strawweight Champion, Sam-A Gaiyanghadao.
