With UFC 256 quickly approaching this Saturday, Dana and Company are keeping their foot on the gas to deliver another stacked card for the final pay per view of the year. Hoping that the closing card of the year will not be affected by COVID-19 related cancellations, here is the main card preview!

Junior Dos Santos (21-8-0) vs Ciryl Gane (6-0-0)HW

Kicking off the main card we have perennial veteran and former Heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos taking on French MMA star and up and comer Ciryl Gane. J.D.S. is looking to get back on track after dropping his last 3 fights, all by KO/TKO. Most recently losing to Jairzinho Rozenstruik at UFC 252. Meanwhile, Ciryl Gane is undefeated, with his most recent fight being a decision victory over Tanner Boser at UFC fight night 165.

Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza (26-8-0) 1NC vs Kevin Holland (20-5-0) – MW

Next up, we have Jacare Souza, and after some matchmaking acrobatics he will be taking on Kevin Holland. Jacare is looking to get back into the win column in his return to Middleweight, after a disappointing jump to Light Heavyweight that saw him defeated by now Light Heavyweight champion Jan Blachowicz. On the other side, we have a surging Kevin Holland who has won four of his last five. Most recently a first-round submission victory against Charlie Ontiveros, at UFC fight night Hall vs Silva.

Renato Moicano (14-3-1) vs Rafael Fiziev (8-1-0) – LW

Our third fight of the main card will see Renato Moicano facing off against Rafael Fiziev. Moicano is trying to keep his winning ways at Lightweight and extend his streak to two in a row. With his most recent being a first-round submission victory against Damir Hadzovic at UFC fight night 170. Fiziev meanwhile is riding his own two-fight win streak coming into this. With his most recent being a decision win over Marc Diakiese at UFC fight night Figueiredo vs Benevidez 2.

Tony Ferguson (26-4-0) vs Charles Olivera (29-8-0-1NC) – LW

In our co-main event, we have the boogeyman himself Tony Ferguson taking on the always dangerous Charles Olivera. Tony will be looking to get back to his winning ways after losing in dramatic fashion to Justin Gaethje via KO/TKO at UFC 249. On the flip-side Olivera is currently on a seven-fight win streak dating back to 2017. With his most recent win coming against Kevin Lee via third-round submission at UFC fight night 170 back in March.

Deiveson Figueiredo (20-1-0) vs Brandon Moreno (18-5-1) – FW

For our main event, we have Flyweight champion, Deiveson Figueiredo, defending his belt against Brandon Moreno. Both of these guys fought just a few weeks ago at UFC 255, and both came away with dominant wins. Figueiredo managed to snag a first-round submission win against Alex Perez to retain his title and move his winning streak to five. Moreno is riding his own 3 fight win streak though with his KO/TKO of Brandon Royval and is looking to usurp the throne. Tune in Saturday to find out who walks away with the belt.
