2020 Warren Spahn Award Winner: Ryu"s Season Numbers
The Toronto Blue Jays ace was phenomenal all season for the Blue Jays and continued that into the playoffs. He had a 5-2 regular-season record accompanied by a 2.63 earned run average. Ryu ranked among the best all season long, including our recently-released Top MLB pitchers today rankings.
At the age of 33, the Warren Spahn Award winner gave up 60 hits in 67 innings while only giving up 20 earned runs, of which only 6 left the ballpark.
Hyun-Jin Ryu was a Cy Young candidate in 2020 as he helped turn around a Toronto Blue Jays pitching rotation in need of some help. The left-handed pitcher was also nominated for the All-MLB Second Team.
